A Year of Gratitude: Reflecting on 2025
A Year of Thank Yous to You and Yours
This is a post about the power of gratitude and the incredible growth we’ve experienced together. As we close the chapter on 2025, I wanted to take a moment to look back at the lessons learned, the community that supported me, and the divine grace that paved the way for the "Good News" to reach over a million reads this year.

— Genesis 1:3Firstly, thank you to God for all Your glory and unconditional love. Thank you for the people You have welcomed into my life—may Your everlasting blessings be upon them. I don't need to name them; You know who you are and how much I love you.
To those who I parted ways with in 2025: I truly wish you every success and blessing as you continue your own journey. This year taught me the value of healthy boundaries and the peace that comes when we release what no longer serves our calling. I am deeply grateful for the lessons learned through every season—the easy ones and the challenging ones alike. God’s hand has been a constant shield, and I’ve seen time and again that His plans for my path are far greater than any obstacle I could face. Leading a digital community toward Christianity has its complexities, but I am humbled by how God sustains this work and protects my heart through it all.
Planting & Waiting
2025 was a year of planting and waiting. 2026 will be a year of harvesting, new connections, and new life. I love my small circle; as I have gotten older, I’ve realized the smaller the circle, the better. It allows for more depth, more sincerity, and more light.

As the lyrics of Hillsong's 'Let There Be Light' proclaim, there is no darkness in His eyes. This year has been about finding that beauty for ashes and seeing every circumstance turn into a reason for praise.
To Our Community
Thank you to the mentors who helped shape me—a kind word, a 45-minute catch-up, a dinner, phone call, email, text message, or a coffee. Thank you to my friends from Uni, the seminary, and the Anglican Church, and to my new work colleagues. It is a blessing to serve with you in the City of the Gold Coast.
