Hobart North Uniting Church has been an inclusive faith community for many years. Following the change in legislation to allow same gender marriage, the congregation agreed by consensus to preside over and host marriages for same gender couples.

Scots Memorial Uniting Church support the LGBTIQA+ community and perform weddings for LGBTIQA+ individuals.
