"Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."

— 1 Peter 5:8

In the stillness of the morning, may we be reminded to be alert and of sober mind. May we be watchful of the enemy, who prowls around like a roaring lion seeking to devour us. Let us not be caught off guard, but stand firm in our faith.

"Heavenly Father, grant us the strength and wisdom to resist the schemes of the devil. May we be vigilant and mindful of his tactics, and find refuge in your protection. Help us to remain steadfast in our faith and trust in your guiding hand. Amen."
