The Epiphany

January 6th
What is it?

Today marks the "Manifestation of Christ." While Christmas celebrates the birth of Jesus, Epiphany celebrates Jesus being revealed to the whole world—represented by the Magi (the Wise Men) who followed the star from distant lands.

Why it matters

It’s the moment we realize God's love isn't a secret for a few; it’s a light for everyone. No matter how far away you feel, the star is visible to you, too. It’s an invitation to "Arise and Shine" because the darkness no longer has the final word.

A Prayer for Today
"O God, by the leading of a star you manifested your only Son to the peoples of the earth: Lead us, who know you now by faith, to your presence, where we may see your glory face to face; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen."
