— 1 John 3:18In a world saturated with promises and declarations, the words 'I love you' often become just another phrase uttered without the weight of authentic intention. The apostle John, in his letter, calls upon us to transcend the limitations of mere verbal affirmation. He urges us to embody love through our actions and to root our expressions of love in truth. This profound understanding of love challenges us to reflect on our relationships and the ways we interact with those around us.
Love is an action verb. It is a commitment that flows from our hearts into tangible acts that demonstrate care, compassion, and sacrifice. It is easy to express love in words, but it takes courage and commitment to show that love through our deeds.
