Janani Luwum, Archbishop, was a fearless advocate for justice and peace in Uganda. He stood up against the oppressive regime and spoke out against human rights violations, even at the cost of his own life. His unwavering faith and commitment to serving God and his people serve as an inspiration to us all. May we be reminded of the importance of standing up for what is right, even in the face of adversity.

"Lord, we thank you for the life and legacy of Janani Luwum, Archbishop. Grant us the courage and strength to follow in his footsteps and speak out against injustice. May we be guided by your love and seek to bring about positive change in our communities. Amen."

Janani Luwum

Janani Luwum was the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda from 1974 to 1977. He was known for his outspoken criticism of the Idi Amin regime and his advocacy for human rights. He was martyred in 1977 for his beliefs.
