Rainbow Faith Trailblazers: An Evening with Jo Inkpin & Penny Jones
Join us for an inspiring evening of love, faith, and breaking barriers.
Join us for a truly special evening with two remarkable history-makers in the Anglican Church: Rev Jo Inkpin, Australia's first openly transgender minister, and Rev Penny Jones, one of the first women ordained in the Church of England.
Married for 40 years, this pioneering clergy couple will share their powerful and inspiring journey of love, faith, courage, and breaking barriers for LGBTIQA+ inclusion in faith communities.
Meet Our Speakers
Rev Jo Inkpin: A passionate advocate for LGBTIQA+ inclusion, Jo made history as Australia's first openly transgender person inducted into a mainstream church ministry. She founded Trans Spirit Flourishing to support transgender Christians on their spiritual journeys.
Rev Penny Jones: A champion for justice and inclusion, Penny was among the first women ordained in the Church of England and holds Masters degrees from both Cambridge and Oxford.
Together, they became one of the first same-sex married clergy couples in the church following Jo's transition, and they continue to be powerful advocates for love and authenticity.
