Reflecting on: 1 John 4:19 - We love because he first loved us.

So, there I was, in the middle of the village hall, giving one of my famous sermons on love, when Frank said, 'Vicar, why is there no love in this parish?' I thought for a moment and replied, 'Frank, if love was a sausage, you'd be the only one eating it!'. Well, I tell you, his face turned tomato red, and I had to remind him, I only meant he'd be the last one to get a slice! I mean, love is like a good sausage – it's best shared, unless you're at a Dibley picnic, then it's every vicar for herself! (giggles)
