Morning Prayer: Cultivating Gratitude

FEBRUARY 19, 2026

"A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of."

— Luke 6:45

Heavenly Father, as I rise to greet this new day, I reflect on Your Word in Luke 6:45. I recognize that the goodness within me shapes my thoughts, words, and actions. Help me to store up good things in my heart, so that I may speak life and love into the world around me.

THE DAILY PRAYER

"Lord, I ask for Your guidance today. Fill my heart with kindness, compassion, and truth. May my words be a reflection of Your love, bringing hope and upliftment to those I encounter. Help me to guard my heart against negativity and fill it with Your goodness, that I might be a blessing to others."
