A message from The Editor
I believe we're all a work in progress, molded by the love we've known and the folk we have shared moments with... a love that whispers promises of both struggle and unexpected joy. Perhaps we never truly arrive, but I see myself as a reflection of that love's unfolding story, with its trials, its wonders, and its beautiful surprises. Our purpose as humans is not to be isolated, but to find meaning and growth through shared experiences of joy, suffering, love, and discovery with others. May the rainbow Christ bring you closer to what you're searching for, and may love fill your heart and guide your journey. - Shane Reynolds, Editor/Chaplain.
Spirituality is a vital part of being human, yet it has sometimes been misunderstood and misused. Harmful beliefs and practices within Christianity have caused real pain, especially for LGBT+ folk, and too often their spiritual experiences and insights are overlooked. The blog aims to help change this by offering space for a range of voices and perspectives.
If you are someone seeking understanding or resourcing or struggling with faith and sexuality, I hope that this also brings light and assistance. We're navigating a difficult period in history, facing significant challenges like fostering reconciliation, establishing peace, alleviating poverty, and supporting refugees and other vulnerable populations. May we make of our diverse perspectives a source of grace for the larger journey of healing and wholeness for all. May we celebrate and support our distinctive gifts and shared humanity. Friends, I'd love to hear from you, so please feel free to reach out here – I'm always open to chatting, and I invite you to watch my testimony as well.
No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, your background, beliefs, or identity, you are embraced here. This website warmly welcomes people of all creeds, races, genders, ages, cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, gender identities, and intersex statuses. This website explores concepts known as Progressive Christianity.
