Honoring the LGBTQ Saints and Martyrs

"Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses… let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us." — Hebrews 12:1

On All Saints and All Souls, we remember the whole communion of saints — especially our LGBTQ saints and martyrs who show us courage, joy, justice, and love. We are grateful for the Litany of Queer Saints from Q Spirit, created by Kittredge Cherry, a dear friend. We appreciate Kitt’s ministry deeply and pray for her ongoing work.

Below you’ll find an excerpted and adapted presentation of the Litany and links to the full text and resources. May these saints inspire us to walk in the light of Christ with courage and loving hearts.
